Description:

Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Behavior Technicians (BTs) implement evidence-based behavior intervention methods specific to each child's treatment plan. A Behavior Therapist works 1:1 with children/adolescents and teaches skills through play-based activities.
ABA therapy aims to replace target behaviors (such as tantrums, aggression, noncompliance, and self-injurious behaviors) with socially significant behaviors (i.e., speech and language development, play skills, compliance, self-care, and increased independence).

Are you new to ABA?

ABA is a systematic approach in which clinical team members utilize their understanding of how behavior works, how it is affected by the environment, and how learning occurs. Learn more about the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and why its evidence-based practices are beneficial for children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities. We provide ongoing support and the opportunity to obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst! With the RBT credential, our BTs qualify for a higher pay bracket.
